We called PITTA, period! Gateau seems too chic .... and then the name pitta makes it a better idea of \u200b\u200bthis rustic dish! And 'good because it can be used as a starter, as the first, as second or as a main dish!
Actually, the original Pictish be made with melted cheese and ham, but I always do this other version because it's tasty!
Ingredients for pitta:
5 potatoes
2 eggs 100 gr. di formaggio
olio
sale
pepe
prezzemolo
Lessare le patate, schiacciarle con lo schicciapatate ed aggiungere il formaggio, l'uovo, il sale, il pepe, il prezzemolo e l'olio.
Per il composto:
3 onions 2 tomatoes 1 aubergine
1 zucchini 2 cans of tuna capers
salt pepper
Put in a pot stick with plenty of oil, the onions cut into slices.
When they start to brown, add the vegetables cut into chunks, peeled tomatoes, capers, salt and pepper.
cook until they are cooked, add them to fire off the two cans of tuna.
Spread half the dough in a pan of potatoes, pour over the mixture and close the pita with the remaining potatoes.
